Job Title: Safety Training Supervisor

Overview:

MV Transportation is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to lead our team in maintaining a safe and secure transportation environment. If you reside in California, please see our California Applicant Privacy Policy for more information about our data handling practices and your data rights.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and provide training to employees.
  • Investigate and analyze accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance departments to ensure a consistent safety culture throughout our locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain a CDL Commercial Drivers License.
  • Previous passenger transportation experience required.
  • Previous training and/or field supervision experience preferred but not required.
  • One-year accident/injury free driving experience.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage emergency situations.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office products (Word & Excel) required.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with all departments.
  • Ability to work independently and objectively.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to set priorities and exercise good judgment.

Starting pay rate: $25.10/hour
