Supply Chain Training Manager

US Foods is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Training Manager to oversee the entirety of Supply Chain onboarding and training. This role is responsible for ensuring new-hire Selectors and Drivers receive comprehensive training, with a focus on their first 90 days.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs for new-hire Selectors and Drivers, including classroom and on-the-job training.
  • Lead a team of trainers and new hires through a multi-week onboarding period, measuring progress through various indicators.
  • Direct and coordinate all aspects of onboarding and training, including scheduling resources, conducting training, and tracking metrics.
  • Provide actionable performance feedback and coaching in both classroom and on-the-floor environments.
  • Analyze and track weekly trainer and associate performance to ensure expectations are met.
  • Collect data to determine safety, effectiveness, retention, and sustainability of training for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Field Market Trainers, Vice Presidents of Operations, Directors, HR, and Supervisors to regularly check progress and performance of new selectors.
  • Report performance and retention data to Vice Presidents of Operations and HR, providing training recommendations and strategies based on trends.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years training/facilitation experience, preferably in a Supply Chain and/or Warehouse environment.
  • Minimum of one year experience overseeing a workforce.
  • Prior experience and/or leadership/direct supervision in a Supply Chain/Warehouse environment is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong facilitation, leadership, communication, engagement, and development skills.
  • Ability to compile and interpret operational metrics.
  • Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Physical Qualifications:

The job requires frequent standing, walking, driving, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to frequently lift from 11-20 pounds is also required.

Compensation:

The expected compensation for this role is between $85,000 and $110,000, with an annual incentive plan bonus. Benefits include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
