**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planning Assistant to support our planning and scheduling function.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Prepare schedules for all production equipment and prepare daily output and backlog reports.

• Work with production personnel to ensure orders are processed and completed on time.

• Support the Production Planning department in understanding the production process, plant procedures, equipment capabilities, and flow of goods within the facility.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with production teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Analyze and resolve production scheduling conflicts and issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date production schedules and reports.

• Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in production planning and scheduling.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and scheduling software.

• Experience with logistics and supply chain management is an asset.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
