Aerospace Production Engineering Manager

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, home of the world-renowned Skunk Works, is seeking a highly skilled Production Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Production Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting one of our programs in our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day activities across Production Engineering disciplines, including Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Test Engineering, Tool Engineering, Tool Design, and Manufacturing Planning.
- Shape processes in support of engineering to manufacturing digital thread, ensuring producibility reviews yield the best and most optimal build and affordable systems.
- Ensure the successful development of our team and position them for growth, developing strong leads that will own each discipline.
- Develop a program-centric culture of readiness, process adherence, and completed staff work, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Represent the organization during customer events and audits, leading the development of metrics to fully understand the health of readiness.
- Previous experience in a Production Engineering discipline.
- Technical Leadership experience.
- Experience in Full Spectrum leadership role.
- Ability to work independently and develop a strong support network across organizations.
- Active DoD Clearance with an Investigation within the last 5 years.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- STEM degree preferred.
- Previous experience in Program Management and/or Project Engineering.
- 3DX Experience.
- Understanding of complex aerospace vehicle assembly.
- Experience in the manufacture of advanced composites, FSDA, structures, systems, and LO coatings.
- Program startup experience.
- Proven ability to interface effectively with different levels of management and multiple disciplines.
- CAM/EVMS execution knowledge and experience.
- Ability to coordinate and influence across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience with high-level (Director/VP) presentations and briefings.
- Positive/self-starting attitude that is not slowed by perceived roadblocks.
