This role is critical in driving the adoption of cutting-edge virtual design processes to enhance our project delivery, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of VDC strategies across the company.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate VDC into all phases of construction, from pre-construction through project completion.
  • Assist in the pursuit and delivery of design-build projects.
  • Oversee the adoption and utilization of BIM, Revit, and other design technologies.
  • Develop and maintain company-wide standards for VDC processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Research and evaluate new software, tools, and methodologies to keep the company at the forefront of industry technology.
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless coordination and execution of VDC processes.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VDC-related challenges during project development and execution.
  • Ensure that all VDC deliverables are accurate, timely, and align with project goals and client expectations.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of virtual designs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with VDC processes, including potential design clashes, budget overruns, and timeline delays.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding VDC-related inquiries and updates.
  • Present VDC models and processes to clients, ensuring transparency and understanding of project progress and decisions.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in architecture or engineering.
  • Extensive experience in BIM, Revit, and other design software tools.
  • Proven track record of implementing VDC strategies and driving adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
