Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team at InterMed, P.A. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including preparing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Assist with recruitment functions, including posting new positions, processing new hires, and sending welcome emails.
  • Manage employee licenses and certifications, track employee benefits, and process changes in the HRIS system.
  • Support wellness initiatives and programs, and coordinate annual compliance activities, such as ACA reporting and labor law posters.
  • Perform other duties to support the mission, vision, and values of InterMed, P.A.
Requirements
  • An associate degree in a business-related field is preferred.
  • Two years of administrative assistant and/or human resources assistant experience is preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills are required.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Good listener with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential employee information.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
