Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at J & J Worldwide Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising work crews in Electrical, Fire Alarm & Extinguishing, Controls, and Facilities Systems Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Work Crews: Direct and oversee the work of electrical, fire alarm & extinguishing, controls, and facilities systems operations teams to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
  • Plan and Organize: Develop and implement schedules, plans, and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Communicate with Customers: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on safety protocols, NFPA requirements, Joint Commission Standards, and general trade needs.
  • Manage Projects: Oversee the planning and implementation of projects, including estimating costs, developing project plans, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Lead the Union Work Force: Motivate and direct the union work force to maximize productivity and achieve goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 hour general industry certification preferred, NICET IV Certification NAC/LAC, and experience with a Facility Computerized Maintenance Management System software (CMMS) highly desired.
