About the Role

Abbott, a leading global healthcare company, is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our Vascular division. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers in the hospital setting, providing technical expertise and product knowledge to ensure successful case outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education for company products.
  • Customer Engagement: Meet with existing and potential customers to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and discuss how Vascular products can help them achieve their goals.
  • Relationship Building: Develop relationships with hospital personnel, make new contacts in hospital departments, and identify key decision makers.
  • Product Education: Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products through presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions.
  • Procedure Support: Attend clinical procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room to ensure customer and patient success with Vascular products.
  • Customer Support: Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 2-5+ years of related work experience.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Patient Interaction: Patient interaction experience within a lab/operating room environment.
  • Technical Certification: Relevant technical certification.
