Clinical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at MDClone. As a key member of our implementation team, you will play a central role in the successful deployment of our platform at customer sites, including hospitals, universities, research institutes, and pharmaceutical companies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare workflows and data structures, as well as expertise in merging client strategic imperatives with data requirements to ensure MDClone platform implementation success.
You will lead, train, and support clinicians, researchers, and data science teams involved in research and analysis via the MDClone Platform, facilitating the development and maintenance of ontologies in collaboration with customer clinicians and medical Informaticists.
Responsibilities will include analyzing customer workflows and data sources to provide clinical insights and optimization of the data structure and content, supporting the configuration and verification process of the platform, and defining and assisting in user acceptance test plans for clinical scenarios.
You will also serve as a skilled clinical resource in support of non-clinical team members, train end-users to use the MDClone platform, and promote, support, and accelerate MDClone platform use.
Additionally, you will assist medical and clinical researchers in the design of retrospective studies, including data generation, analysis, interpretation of data derivatives, and publication of scientific articles.
Academic and professional qualifications include experienced Nurse Informaticist, Advanced Practice Provider (APP), or Physician (MD, DO) with qualifications and experience in Health Informatics.
Experience in using healthcare data for clinical improvement projects or applied research, working with or in a healthcare system or hospital, and expertise in clinical workflows, electronic health records, and real-world data collected by EHRs are essential.
Strong communication skills, experience in delivering group and one-on-one training, and the ability to travel occasionally as warranted by project work and location are also required.
