Job Title: Lead AI Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead AI Data Scientist to join our team at US Main. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of advanced analytics and machine learning models to drive business growth and improve decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics and machine learning models to extract insights and create predictive solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists, providing technical leadership and contributing to the overall data science strategy of the company.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to collaborate on delivering solutions and interact with clients to understand requirements and discuss solutions.
  • Set clear goals, assign tasks, and ensure the team's performance meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Identify new data sources and technologies that can improve data analysis and modeling capabilities.
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Experience in requirement understanding and solution designing.
  • Knowledge of Deep Learning models for solving business problems in the area of Natural Language Processing.
  • Proficiency in Generative AI techniques, prompt engineering, Vector DB, LLMs such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and Open-source LLMs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into data science projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role is typically required.
  • Familiarity with using hosted services on cloud is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as Azure Data Scientist Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics, or Google Professional Data Engineer can be an advantage.
