Job Title: AI/ML Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. This is a 10+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Tampa, FL /Coppell, TX (Hybrid).

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML infrastructure solutions using AWS services. This includes experience with SageMaker, Bedrock, and Q developer machine learning services, as well as familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LlamaIndex.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop AI/ML infrastructure solutions using AWS services.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models using SageMaker, enabling predictive analytics and driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with Terraform to automate SageMaker tasks.
  • Manage and optimize AWS EMR clusters to process and analyze large-scale datasets.
  • Create an inclusive environment across all aspects of the team, including continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
  • Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
  • Design and develop machine learning algorithms and deep learning applications and systems.
  • Familiarity with Python, Java, and R programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins and JIRA, Confluence.
  • Ability to work and deliver in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and willing to adapt to changes.
  • Address problems with deployed AI to improve user experience.
  • Have experience in incident management.
  • Have deep understanding and experience in Change Management process.
  • Have deep understanding and experience in SDLC process.
  • Have deep understanding and experience in Governance, business continuity, and resiliency.
  • Generative AI using open-source LLMs (Llama, Cohere, OpenAI, Titan etc..) and APIs.
  • Docker, Kubernetes, SQL.
  • Linux commands and shell scripting.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with AWS services (Athena, KMS, s3, lambda, cloudtrail, cloudwatch, SSM etc..)
  • Strong experience with SageMaker, Bedrock, and Q developer machine learning services.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LlamaIndex.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology and practices for AI deployment.
  • Familiarity with source code management/release management/DevOps for AI.
  • Experience with Terraform to automate SageMaker tasks.
  • Experience in deployed machine learning models using AWS SageMaker, enabling predictive analytics and driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in managed and optimized AWS EMR clusters to process and analyze large-scale datasets.
  • Familiarity with Python, Java, and R programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins and JIRA, Confluence.
  • Ability to work and deliver in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and willing to adapt to changes.
