Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join our team at Breckenridge Independent School District. As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for providing students with a high-quality education and creating a supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Strategies: Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the requirements of our district's curriculum program and demonstrate a deep understanding of the subject matter.
  • Student Growth and Development: Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement and use the results to inform instructional decisions.
  • Classroom Management and Organization: Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and physical growth.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.
  • Professional Growth and Development: Participate in staff development activities to enhance job-related skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in education.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Certification: Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers.
  • Experience: Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience.
