Job Opportunity

Carriage House, a renowned childcare provider in Breckenridge, CO, is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our Pre-K team. As a play-based school utilizing the Creative Curriculum and Pyramid Plus approach, we prioritize social and emotional growth. We're looking for an individual who is passionate about guiding young children, willing to learn, and has experience working with children in a group setting.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Lead teacher in implementing curriculum and care based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
  • Actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
  • Maintain a healthy classroom environment, including hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements

We're looking for an individual who:

  • Has a clear full background check.
  • Can support and guide children aged 4-5 years old.
  • Works well with others (staff, children, and parents).
  • Is open to enrolling in 2 CMC Early Childhood classes within the first 6 months (tuition covered).
  • Is available for a full-time work schedule (3-4 days/week).
