Job Overview

Compensation:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting assessments to identify speech and language disorders and implementing individualized therapy plans. You will work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational plans.

  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure seamless integration of speech and language goals into students' educational plans.
  • Case Load Management: Manage a moderate case load of diverse students with varying communication needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a valid Maryland SLPA license.
