We are seeking a Part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in person for a school-based assignment in Washington, DC to join our team in treating and assessing school-based needs. You will have a caseload of approximately nine school students to provide services, develop IEPs, and assess - Below average caseload size, supportive, inclusive school district; it's the ideal position
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based therapy plans, goals, and treatment for speech/language disorders.
- Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders.
- Provide direct therapy.
- Write clinical SOAP notes.
- Attend and write IEPs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Current Maryland SLP License.
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders. CFY's accepted and encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with communication disorders.
- Ability to build rapport with patients and clinical staff.
- Ability to build rapport with school teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills, commitment, and organizational skills.
