Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist at Penn Medicine

The Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist plays a crucial role in the oversight of laboratory operations at Penn Medicine. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to assist section leadership in ensuring the smooth functioning of laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist section leadership in the oversight of laboratory operations
Perform waived, moderate, and/or high-complexity tests and procedures in clinical laboratory sections
Document accurate laboratory results for the diagnosis and treatment of disease
Requirements:
Medical Lab Scientist ASCP certification
Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science or other biological or chemical science
2 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist I or equivalent experience
