Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Perfusion Director, the Perfusionist will be responsible for providing patient care within the scope of perfusion services. This includes performing clinical duties such as Cardiopulmonary Bypass, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumping, and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing safe and effective perfusion care to patients
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Evaluating new techniques and implementing approved clinical programs
  • Assisting with the evaluation of new equipment for clinical applications
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Perfusion or a related field and a Certificate of completion from an accredited Perfusion program
  • PA State licensure and certification as a perfusionist by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or eligibility to take the ABCP exams
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
