Dexian is looking for a Compliance Analyst specializing in AML/BSA for a key role within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act regulations by identifying and investigating potential suspicious activities.
  • Examine customer account transactions to identify unusual patterns and determine the necessary actions.
  • Collaborate with various business units to develop protocols for recognizing suspicious transactions related to money laundering, including effective reporting methods to the compliance team.
  • Offer insights, assistance, and recommendations to business units regarding customer AML risk assessments and account behaviors.
  • Based on investigative findings, evaluate the necessity of filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with federal authorities for any detected suspicious activities.
  • Work in partnership with internal teams, financial institutions, and governmental bodies to gather and assess essential information.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in fields such as Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, Criminal Justice, or Law Enforcement.
  • Fundamental knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work autonomously and confidently in a remote work environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Participation in extracurricular activities during academic tenure is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering practices, the Bank Secrecy Act, and the US Patriot Act is beneficial.
  • Research skills and the ability to analyze data critically.
  • Effective time management capabilities.
  • Any practical experience in applying these skills will enhance your candidacy.
