Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team at Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America (PASA). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of our buildings and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform functions related to fire safety, safety, security, HAZMAT, utility systems, and emergency disciplines.
- Advanced understanding and compliance of utility feeds, electrical distribution, life safety functions, HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Perform facilities-related inspection testing, maintenance, and remediation for operational efficiency.
- Thorough understanding of facilities-related federal, state, and local code requirements.
- Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities.
- Gathering and analyzing data, blueprints, and reports.
- Recommending design, reconfiguration, and/or proposing alterations for functional equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and facilities.
- Designing facility expansion plans, layouts, operating systems, and quality controls.
- Providing delivery for facilities project management approved initiatives for all assigned facilities.
- Pre-planning, planning, and response to emergencies and/or business disruptions.
- Five (5) Seven (7) years combined management and oversight experience related to advanced facilities engineering, project, and emergency management along with financial responsibility.
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advance technical facilities, project, and/or emergency-related certifications are preferred.
- HVAC Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
- Knowledge of building processes and construction principles.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams and/or work groups.
- Previous work experience in a cross-cultural, international environment preferred.
- Superior proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based databases as appropriate to the position and assignment.
