Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee day-to-day activities at our Peachtree City, Georgia location. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading lean initiatives, developing team members, and driving continuous improvement to maximize profitable growth and premier customer service.

About the Role

The Production Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading and guiding lean initiatives within the assigned teams
  • Establishing team goals and tracking key performance metrics
  • Developing team members, making employment decisions, and conducting performance assessments
  • Ensuring all team members receive training in lean methodologies and standard operating procedures
  • Empowering team members to drive team success
  • Directly accountable for preventive maintenance program execution and safety programs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and execute
  • Ability to refine manufacturing processes to achieve continuous improvements in quality, delivery, and cost
  • 5 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment with 3 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Lean management experience
