Job Overview:
As a Financial Analyst, you will engage in professional accounting tasks that involve the collection, integration, and evaluation of financial data to produce comprehensive financial statements and reports.


Your role will encompass applying accounting principles and standard practices to the classification and documentation of financial transactions.

Specific responsibilities may vary by department and could include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Preparation of journal entries and trial balances or financial statements.
- Conducting account reconciliations and accurately tracking various income and expense activities.
- Managing receivables and payables, including invoicing and purchase order reviews.


Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit effective communication skills across various levels of the organization.

- Collaborate with other departments, locations, and divisions to resolve issues.

- Provide updates to management regarding project status and completion timelines.

- Advise management on expected outcomes and suggest improvements.


- Present analyses of financial results and trends to management.


- Conduct thorough financial and business analyses, evaluating and interpreting relevant financial and statistical data.


- Develop and document business policies, perform special financial studies, and collaborate with other departments on analyses.


- Analyze financial reports and records, providing insights on variances and recommendations for reserves, assets, and expenditures.

- Independently tackle fundamental problem-solving tasks and document recommendations for management.

- Facilitate analysis and reporting processes.

- Utilize computer systems to input, retrieve, and display accounting information.

- Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases, compiling reports, graphs, and charts as needed.

- Lead special projects within the department, documenting financial analysis projects and preparing ad hoc reports, including data gathering, analysis, and result calculations.


- Ensure project activities are progressing as planned and completed within established timelines, maintaining communication with management throughout.


- Make recommendations based on findings when necessary.

- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience as determined by the company in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Preferred: None

Experience:
- Minimum: 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
- Familiarity with various computer applications, including MS Excel and/or MS Access.
- Preferred: None

Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Client-focused with a solid understanding of business operations.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
- Strategic thinker with proactive problem-solving skills.

Scope of Responsibility:
- This role does not involve supervising or managing other employees.

Work Environment:
- Travel is required at a minimal rate of 0-10%.
