A distinguished Research University is in search of a Senior Post Award Analyst to contribute significantly within the Office of Clinical Trials.

Your role will involve the evaluation and examination of clinical research studies to guarantee adherence to Medicare's clinical trial policies and institutional billing compliance standards.

You will be responsible for managing financial reports related to clinical trials, ensuring compliance in clinical research billing, and actively participating in the reconciliation and closure processes of clinical trials.


Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:
Deliver expert oversight of the financial components of clinical trials post-award
Collaborate with SPA and research accounting teams to ensure precise and timely financial reporting
Generate comprehensive financial reports on clinical trials, emphasizing budget compliance and expenditure tracking

Compliance and Oversight:
Supervise and guarantee adherence to policies and procedures associated with clinical research billing
Perform audits and assessments to uphold compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations

Reconciliation & Closure Processes: Direct the item-level reconciliation process in the new system for clinical trials
Manage and facilitate the closure process of clinical trials, ensuring accurate and compliant reporting

Prospective Reimbursement Activities Validate and oversee prospective reimbursement analyses for all clinical research studies

  • Provide financial insights to support strategic planning in clinical trial management

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related fields
5+ years of experience in financial management and reporting, particularly in clinical research or healthcare
Strong comprehension of clinical research billing compliance and regulations
Financial management and reporting expertise, focusing on clinical research or healthcare
