The Intelligence and National Security Alliance is seeking a qualified Accounting Policy Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a specialized accounting position, with a proven track record in researching and assessing accounting policies, as well as familiarity with SEC reporting obligations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of accounting policies and transaction interpretations, including the research, interpretation, and application of new GAAP standards.
  • Prepare technical accounting journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, including accompanying footnotes and Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A).
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations and assist with SEC filings.
  • Support the preparation of SEC reporting documentation.
  • Assist in testing internal controls related to financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management standards and best practices concerning data governance.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline is required.
CPA designation is preferred.

Experience:
A minimum of 3 years in a technical accounting role is required.
Demonstrated expertise in researching and evaluating accounting policies and transactions.
Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Familiarity with the Workiva Wdesk platform is advantageous.
Experience in the Financial Services sector is a plus.
