About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Netflix, where you'll play a key role in building developer productivity tools for our machine learning teams.

As a member of our team, you'll design, build, and maintain tools that are used daily by our machine learning researchers. You'll work closely with our ML researchers to identify frictions and design solutions to address them.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong software engineering background, a keen sense of software design, and experience operating large CI/CD systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop tools for our machine learning researchers
  • Collaborate with ML researchers to identify and address frictions
  • Operate large CI/CD systems
  • Contribute to the development of our machine learning infrastructure
Requirements
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong software design and development skills
  • Experience with large-scale data frameworks
  • Experience with parallel and distributed computing
  • BS in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating and customizing Bazel or similar distributed build systems
  • Significant contributions to open source projects
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks
