We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional II to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional II, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
- Support clients in achieving their goals and objectives, as outlined in their Individual Program Plan.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients.
- Assist clients with personal care, including grooming, bathroom needs, and meal preparation.
- Transport clients to appointments, activities, and social events.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless support.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in caregiving, preferably supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses.
- Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) required.
- First Aid/CPR/CPI certification.
- Valid California Driver's License.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions.
