We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Professional, you will be responsible for conducting tax interviews with clients, increasing retention of all clients, and offering additional products and services to generate business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized solutions.
  • Increase retention of all clients by providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
  • Offer additional products and services to clients to generate business growth and increase revenue.
  • Provide IRS audit support and attend audits as needed to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Further develop tax expertise by staying up-to-date on tax laws and regulations and participating in ongoing training and development.
  • Mentor and support teammates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience completing individual returns and tax planning and audit support.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
  • Additional experience for this position is acquired through training upon hiring.
