Overview

Autism Spectrum Therapies, a leading autism services organization, is seeking a highly skilled ABA professional to fill the role of Managing Technician. This position is ideal for experienced candidates looking to develop their assessment skills and work towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

As a Managing Technician, you will support clients and Behavior Therapists in Palmdale, Lancaster, and Rosamond, working under the direction of a BCBA and accruing indirect supervision hours towards certification.

Responsibilities
  • Support clients and Behavior Therapists in Palmdale, Lancaster, and Rosamond
  • Work under the direction of a BCBA
  • Accrue indirect supervision hours towards becoming a BCBA
  • Oversee a team of approximately 5 interventionists and average clients
  • Develop client goals and clinical programs
  • Support parent training and education
  • Write progress reports and conduct regular team meetings
Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • Minimum one year experience working with children with autism
  • BCBA eligible or accruing hours towards certification
  • Extensive prior experience with applied behavioral analysis
  • Demonstrated fluency with all aspects of the Behavior Interventionist position
  • Demonstrated ability to train others
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • BCaBA preferred, not required
  • Bilingual skills highly preferred, not required
