Account Executive Job Description

McClure Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling our energy services and performance contracting solutions to public entities, including K-12 education, county government, state agencies, healthcare, and higher education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell our energy services and performance contracting solutions to public entities
  • Identify, sell, renew, or expand service agreements as part of a bundled offering
  • Coordinate and perform duties and responsibilities such as lead generation, customer services, proposal development, customer acquisition, and coordinating the start of projects for Performance Contracts and other energy services solutions
  • Respond to Request for Proposals and Request for Qualifications
  • Self-generate leads within identified vertical markets and geographical regions
  • Leverage all of our company's offerings to generate leads and cultivate additional opportunities
  • Ability to facilitate complex technical and financial solutions unique to each opportunity in an effective and efficient manner
  • Identify project goals and timelines to maximize project development and engineering resources
  • Guide clients through energy efficiency project financing and contracting processes
  • Develop and maintain a sales plan for identifying energy retrofit project opportunities and other services identified by the customer
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required
  • 2 years of ESCO &/or ESIP experience
  • 3 - 5 years of financial / performance contracting experience including previous leadership, sales, and marketing with an energy services or related organization
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal, written, computer communication, and technical presentation skills
  • Strong needs-based sales skills
  • Knowledge of building infrastructure systems and energy analysis
  • Valid Drivers' License in good standing, issued by resident state required

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time Monday - Friday
