Role Summary:

As a Crisis Management Specialist, you will engage in providing essential crisis intervention services across various environments, including community settings, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities. Your primary objective will be to assist individuals in navigating crises, thereby preventing the need for hospitalization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver support to individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises in diverse settings.
  • Utilize strength-based interventions to promote recovery, enhance coping skills, and facilitate independent living.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, families, and community resources.
  • Mitigate the adverse effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence through supportive counseling.
  • Assist clients in developing essential life skills, including daily living, socialization, and emotional regulation.
  • Coordinate case management activities, ensuring access to necessary services and referrals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to streamline service delivery and enhance client outcomes.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree in a non-Human Services field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's degree or higher with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Possession of a valid license or certification in the human services profession.

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Flexible, based on availability and shift requirements.
