Job Overview
Morada Meadow Lakes is seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our culinary team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.
Compensation Package
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a rewarding career, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, paid time off, and paid holidays.
About the Role
The Executive Chef will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking hot and cold menu items in a fast-paced kitchen environment;
- Ensuring proper food preparation, portioning, and presentation according to standardized recipes;
- Tasting and quality-checking food to ensure it meets our high standards;
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed;
- Working closely with other members of the culinary team to maintain a clean and safe work environment;
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior living or hospitality setting;
- Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills;
- Food safety certification and ability to obtain any necessary permits;
