As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for executing routine and repetitive assembly tasks under direct supervision. This role requires availability for 2nd shift, with schedules determined by operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly Operations:
    • Conduct both machine and manual assembly processes.
    • Engage in soldering and computer-related tasks as necessary.
    • Implement specialized assembly techniques.
    • Accurately interpret and adhere to procedures, routing, and other work instructions.
    • Ensure the precision of all assembly processes.
  • Customer Commitment:
    • Fulfill internal and external customer timelines as established by the team.
    • Produce components that conform to specified drawings.
    • Adhere to relevant quality system standards.
  • Project Involvement:
    • Exhibit initiative to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
    • Utilize computer tools effectively, such as SAP, and follow work instructions accurately.
    • Obtain special process certifications as required.
    • Take a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Pursue continuous improvement certifications.
  • Communication:
    • Collaborate with other departments to update, inform, and resolve production-related issues.
    • Engage effectively with team members.
  • Engagement:
    • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
    • Participate in waste reduction efforts.
    • Engage in audits as necessary.
  • Be prepared to stand for extended periods.
  • Utilize safety glasses and other protective equipment as required.
  • Work effectively in a role that involves repetitive tasks.
  • Prioritize safety and quality in all operations.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience (2 years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma).
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident.
  • Availability for 2nd shift is essential.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting safety guidelines, operating instructions, and assembly manuals.
  • Highly motivated with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
