Position Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Industrial Engineer to become a vital part of our Manufacturing Support division. This role will utilize your extensive knowledge in industrial engineering to refine manufacturing workflows, boost productivity, and spearhead ongoing improvement projects. You will be instrumental in enhancing production processes through both tactical and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute technical strategies within a manufacturing context.
  • Work alongside design engineers to implement modifications that improve manufacturability.
  • Create tools that enhance manufacturing capabilities, support process improvements, and prioritize safety.
  • Advance new methodologies, techniques, and standards in the field.
  • Lead interdisciplinary studies aimed at cost management and inventory optimization using Lean methodologies.
  • Establish optimal operation sequences to maximize facility and personnel utilization.
  • Prepare project cost assessments and analyze cost factors to aid in decision-making.
  • Design manufacturing layouts to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Address complex challenges through data analysis and innovative solutions.
  • Evaluate product designs for manufacturability, providing technical feedback for design enhancements.
  • Innovate new assembly techniques and improve existing processes.
  • Research new processes, methods, and equipment, making recommendations for acquisitions as necessary.
  • Oversee medium-complexity cross-functional projects from inception to completion.
  • Validate cost requirements against business objectives and program expectations.
  • Estimate project timelines and costs, assisting in proposal and presentation preparations.
  • Implement innovative strategies to foster continuous improvement across engineering disciplines.
  • Adapt responsibilities as needed to align with changing organizational priorities.

Required Qualifications:
  • A University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field, or in the absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing settings.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong background in Root Cause Analysis.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems.
  • Experience with CAD software.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
