Operations Director

Parkhurst Dining, a leading provider of culinary, dining, and catering services, is seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and leading a specific area or cost center within our client locations.
Key Responsibilities- Client, Customer, and Guest Relations:
- Demonstrate a strong focus on client, customer, and guest satisfaction, seeking frequent feedback to ensure exceptional service.
- Coach team members on the importance of customer satisfaction, promoting a culture of hospitality and excellence.
- Develop a good rapport with other departments within the facility, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Model the Smile Plus hospitality imperatives, embodying the company's commitment to exceptional service.
- Financial Results:
- Utilize company systems to track and monitor adherence to financial guidelines, reporting variances to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Monitor sales to ensure sales targets are met, identifying opportunities to enhance revenue and drive business growth.
- Review weekly cost accountability, reporting variances to the General Manager and ensuring budget guidelines are met within the area of control.
- Monitor waste, overproduction, and quality standards, implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Qualifications:
- Eight or more years of professional experience, with six or more years in food service management.
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Culinary, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent job-related experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food service systems, including budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Proven ability to lead other managers or supervisors, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines and drive results.
- Proficient in Microsoft software programs, with basic skills in math and financial management.
