Role Overview

The Global Interchange & Pricing - Systems team is pivotal in shaping the technical strategy, solution enablement, and ongoing management of interchange programs on a global scale.

We are in search of an Analyst to enhance our team. This role serves as a crucial link between Business and Strategy divisions and our internal development teams. The Analyst will engage in low complexity projects, coordinating implementation efforts and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and internal partners.
  • Assess business needs and priorities to aid the team in developing effective solutions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with management to translate business requirements into actionable plans.
  • Oversee the enablement of interchange fee programs, including registration and configuration tasks.
  • Guide internal and external clients on interchange fee program criteria and processing logic.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of commitments.
  • Deliver high-quality responses and maintain service accuracy.
  • Set priorities and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve business and processing challenges promptly.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding ongoing assignments.
  • Stay informed on new regulations, products, and industry trends to support Visa's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and enhance knowledge of Visa's core processing capabilities through training and self-study.
  • Define business requirements and review technical documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Generate and maintain technical documentation for clients.
  • Manage internal databases and templates, ensuring processes are up to date.
  • Lead and manage diverse assignments independently.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams globally.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role, allowing for a blend of remote and office work. Employees in hybrid positions are expected to work from the office on designated days based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with an Advanced degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the card payment industry or financial services.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with SQL and Microstrategy tools is advantageous.
  • Ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance with process guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Openness to feedback and coaching from peers and managers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build credibility with global teams.

Additional Information

This position may require occasional travel. The role will be performed in an office setting, requiring the ability to sit and stand at a desk and operate standard office equipment.
