Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Healthcare Application Specialist:

  • Executing application development requirements and tasks associated with the initial installation of Epic Electronic Health Record (E.H.R) implementation project.
  • Fulfill designated application responsibilities in alignment with the implementation project timeline and milestones.
  • Conduct workflow analysis, system build, and documentation in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate requirements and concepts into functional capabilities.
  • Complete assigned duties proactively in accordance with the project scope and build specifications outlined by our Epic Project Team.

Required Skills:

  • Capable of operating at the highest technical level across all phases of application systems analysis, workflow assessment, development, design, testing, interface knowledge, and programming tasks.
  • Possesses extensive understanding of the inpatient and outpatient registration and scheduling environments, along with hospital operations, procedures, and their interrelations.
  • Demonstrates a solid grasp of registration and scheduling workflows and their integration with clinical processes and practices.
