Biomed Tech I Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Biomed Tech I to join our team at Prime Healthcare. As a Biomed Tech I, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing biomedical equipment to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repair duties on biomedical equipment under close supervision of BSI management.
  • Install, test, calibrate, and repair biomedical equipment to ensure safe operations.
  • Ensure biomedical equipment is in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and quality control standards.
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of biomedical equipment and related technologies.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 0-1 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of TJC, DNV, HFAP, CAP, NFPA, CMS, HIPAA, and other applicable standards and regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blueprints.
  • Field-related technical certifications (e.g., A+, CBET, CCE, or CHTM) preferred.
