Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Yard Technician to join our team at EquipmentShare. As a key member of our rental facility team, you will be responsible for maintaining the storage yard in top condition, ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment rental business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any issues or damage, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately document incoming and outgoing equipment, and maintain inventory systems according to standard operating procedures.
  • Yard and Shop Cleanup: Maintain a safe and clean working environment by ensuring the yard and shop areas are free from clutter and hazards.
  • Equipment Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload equipment, and assist with demonstrations and training as needed.
  • General Maintenance and Repair: Assist with routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks to ensure the equipment is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of [insert time] years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, bend, and stoop for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
  • Skills and Abilities: Safety training required, and PPE required when applicable. Valid driver's license.
