The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for installing and configuring audio-visual equipment, including cables, routers, and switches. This role requires a strong understanding of cable flow and installation, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.
Key Responsibilities- Dress, label, pull, cut, and terminate cables
- Install and connect video routers and switches
- Install cameras and mount display equipment
- Program proprietary equipment
- Troubleshoot complex audio-video equipment
- Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts
- Complete daily reports and project status updates
- Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, and network cable testers
- Ability to dress racks and read technical diagrams
- Knowledge of AC/D voltage and experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to fit into tight spaces and work in hazardous conditions
- Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and operate mobile devices
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in audio-video integration technical environment
- Mathematical skills to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
This role requires 100% travel to reach project locations. Employees working in hazardous conditions and areas are required to comply with all applicable safety provisions and to use PPE.
Compensation and Benefits$25.00 - $30.00 based on experience. Health, Dental, and Vision Benefits. 401K Contribution and Match.
