**Job Summary**
As a Ground Service Equipment Utility at United Airlines, you will be responsible for identifying and checking tools, testing equipment and certain commodities in and out of the warehouse, and performing routine maintenance tasks of a general nature. You will also be responsible for performing light maintenance tasks, including surface treatment on engines, aircraft, and component parts with chemicals and sandblasting equipment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Identify and check tools to ensure they are in good working condition
* Test equipment and certain commodities in and out of the warehouse to ensure they meet quality standards
* Perform routine maintenance tasks of a general nature, including cleaning and lubricating equipment
* Perform light maintenance tasks, including surface treatment on engines, aircraft, and component parts with chemicals and sandblasting equipment
* Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role preferred
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment
