Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Cath Lab Technologist PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians in obtaining and entering data into the Physiologic Monitoring System(s) for accurate assessment of left and/or right-sided Hemodynamic pressure measurements.
  • Accurately report Ejection Fraction by demonstrating proficiency in the assessment of Cardiac function, utilizing Left Ventricular Analysis program(s).
  • Ensure that Angiographic and procedural data is properly archived for long-term storage.
  • Collaborate with the Cath Lab team to ensure proper equipment setup, accurate monitoring, and quality data collection.
  • Identify cardiac structures, coronary vasculature, and associated disease processes.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED
  • One (1) year fulltime Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience
  • Associate Degree or equivalent college hours (62 semester hours) in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering or any primary science or higher
  • Graduate of an accredited (by CHEA, USDOE, or CMA) program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology
  • Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required: RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) from CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
