We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Catheterization Specialist to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians in performing cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary angiography and peripheral angiography.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including angiographic systems and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
- Collect and analyze data from cardiac catheterization procedures to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in cardiovascular technology and patient care.
- High school graduate or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- One year of experience in invasive cardiovascular technology or a related field required; two years of experience preferred.
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
