Key Responsibilities and Duties

Execute security operations as detailed in the Post Order Manual and relevant policy and procedural guidelines, as directed by St. Moritz Security Services Management. Conduct foot patrols of the premises (or designated areas within or outside the premises), which may include vehicle patrols and/or golf cart patrols. Identify and report security risks, unsafe conditions, or hazards, and/or other emergency situations. Perform site-specific tasks based on assignment, which may encompass customer service, loss prevention, retail security, lobby/visitor reception, service/freight elevator security, loading dock security, and various other safety and security roles. Document detailed, accurate, and legible incident reports during shifts, including notes on any unusual activities and resolutions. Responsible for notifying appropriate personnel (Site Supervision, Field Management, etc.) as directed by site post orders or as needed during shifts. Familiarize oneself with all site-specific policies and procedures and implement emergency response activities as required. Adhere to all company protocols, maintain acceptable attendance, and comply with grooming and customer service standards. Participate in all company and site-mandated orientation and training programs. Respond to incidents occurring during shifts, in accordance with the Post Orders and the Company's Use of Force Policy, ensuring appropriate actions are taken, all reports are completed accurately, and relevant parties are informed promptly. Carry out security, customer service, or support functions as directed by supervisors or in response to client requests. #IND1

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. 1-3 years of professional work experience is preferred. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, and/or customer service is highly desirable. Experience in scheduling, operations, or other security functions is a plus. Must possess a valid registration/permit/license as required by the state of employment. Some clients may require additional background checks, testing, and procedures such as site-specific drug testing and background screening. Furthermore, as a condition of continued employment, employees must maintain current active status of all necessary registrations/licenses/permits required by the jurisdiction and carry appropriate documentation while on duty. A current state driver's license and an acceptable driving record may be required, as determined by St. Moritz Security Services, along with the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and/or golf cart if assigned to such a position. Reliable transportation (or access to public transportation) to consistently arrive at work on time is required. Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports. Demonstrated customer service orientation, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels in a courteous manner, and to de-escalate situations before they escalate. Energetic and focused personality with a proven ability to take initiative, manage multiple competing assignments, and meet deadlines effectively. Professional, articulate, and capable of exercising good independent judgment and discretion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Ability to interact successfully at all levels within the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player. Physical/Mental Requirements and Working Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use both hands, frequently required to stand, sit, stoop, talk, and hear (communicate verbally in person and via telephone and/or applicable two-way radio equipment) and must be able to read computer screens, correspondence, and reports in English. Must be able to write handwritten reports in the field in clear, legible English. Must be willing and able to wear the proper uniform at all times, maintaining good personal hygiene and grooming to meet company standards, and present oneself in a professional, well-groomed manner (including maintaining a clean and neat uniform, polished shoes, and a business-appropriate appearance). The job is generally performed in various environments, including but not limited to indoor and outdoor assignments, in parking structures, and in office settings. The employee may be subject to adverse and/or severe conditions such as rain, cold, or heat for extended periods. The ambient noise level is usually quiet, consisting of normal conversations, business machines (copiers, printers, etc.), and telephones, but may occasionally exceed normal levels for portions of the shift. Employees must be able to hear clearly, with or without reasonable assistance. Must be able to see with reasonable assistance (glasses/contacts/correctable vision acceptable) and distinguish colors. Employees must be able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities. Employees must be customer-service focused, able to take direction from supervisors, and maintain good order and discipline through the chain of command as appropriate. Must be able to focus and multi-task in a busy environment, successfully handling stressful situations in a calm and professional manner (using appropriate language, volume, and tone of voice). Must be able to clearly speak, read, and write English, and give clear, loud, and authoritative instructions or directions to others in a security or emergency situation.
