Role Summary
The Security Operations Specialist at BlueOval SK LLC will be integral to maintaining the overall safety and security of our facilities. This role encompasses conducting site risk evaluations and managing various physical security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarm systems, access control mechanisms, and lighting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee physical security measures to ensure the safety of all personnel, contractors, and visitors.
- Implement security protocols and threat management strategies to safeguard employees and physical assets.
- Conduct investigations into theft and safety incidents using company-provided systems such as CCTV and access control data.
- Establish and manage security personnel operations.
- Prepare necessary documentation and reports related to security activities.
- Foster relationships with relevant security agencies.
- Perform physical security assessments and vulnerability inspections, providing actionable recommendations.
- Review facility designs to ensure sensitive materials are appropriately secured.
- Develop and assess existing security procedures to enhance effectiveness.
- Apply relevant security standards consistently.
- Welcome guests and ensure proper sign-in protocols are followed.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in security roles within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Proficiency with surveillance and access control systems.
- Experience in managing security teams effectively.
- Ability to cultivate partnerships and influence key stakeholders.
- Comprehensive understanding of various aspects of physical security.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of industry-recognized security certifications.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Security-related certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CISSP are advantageous.
