Job Overview:
- Assist medical oncologists in patient management and treatment education.
- Provide essential support to ensure a high standard of care for patients.
- Collaborate closely with physicians to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
- Comply with the US Oncology Compliance Program standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and assess patient care.
- Document interventions and monitor patient responses.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with protocols and physician consultations.
- Assist in clinical procedures and patient evaluations.
- Deliver education to patients and their families.
- Recommend community resources and facilitate staff training.
- Integrate evidence-based research into clinical practice.
- Guide and mentor new mid-level providers.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Physician Assistant.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant.
- Prior experience in oncology is preferred.
Compensation:
$104,585 - $191,000, salaried
Note:
Final compensation will be determined based on a review of the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications, along with internal equity considerations.
