Job Overview:

  • Assist medical oncologists in patient management and treatment education.
  • Provide essential support to uphold the exceptional standard of care for patients.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure comprehensive primary care for patients.
  • Comply with the US Oncology Compliance Program guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, plan, implement, and assess patient care strategies.
  • Record interventions and monitor patient responses.
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with established protocols and physician consultations.
  • Support procedures and conduct patient evaluations.
  • Deliver education to patients and their families.
  • Suggest community resources and facilitate staff training.
  • Integrate evidence-based research into clinical practices.
  • Guide and mentor new mid-level providers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid state license as a Physician Assistant.
  • At least three years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant.
  • Prior experience in oncology is advantageous.

Compensation:
$104,585- $191, salaried

Note:
Final compensation amounts are determined based on a review of the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications, along with considerations of internal employee equity.
