Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Prior Authorization staff to verify necessary authorizations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Pre-register patients by collecting demographic and insurance information, facilitating a smooth registration process for both outpatient and inpatient services.
  • Notify patients of pertinent visit information, including pre-appointment instructions and check-in times, to minimize delays and ensure a positive experience.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of prior registration/scheduling experience, with a strong background in medical terminology and 3rd party payer experience preferred.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of medical terminology and ability to apply critical thinking skills for problem resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $25.47 per hour.
