Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Access Representative I to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately identifying and registering patients in our hospital information system, ensuring complete demographic, insurance, and clinical information is recorded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Register patients in the hospital information system with complete demographic, insurance, and clinical information.
  • Handle all aspects of scheduling same-day visits, tests, and ordering exams.
  • Provide reception and manage patient flow in support of Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging testing services or Emergency Department Care.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant customer service experience.
  • Experience using a computerized information system.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred.

  • Ability to comply with flexible scheduling needs.
  • Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

  • General office skills.
