Job Overview

Amdocs is seeking a skilled Commercial Legal Counsel to join our Legal Department's Global Business Group. As a trusted advisor, you will partner with our business teams to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be essential in supporting pre-sales activities and providing ongoing post-closing legal support to internal clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage legal aspects of commercial agreements, including technology licensing, SaaS, and professional services.
  • Interface with a collaborative legal and business team to provide practical and issue-focused legal advice.
  • Interact with business clients, management, and external customers to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements and transactions.
  • Provide legal analyses and risk assessments, participating in business decision-making processes.
  • Lead the legal aspects of commercial negotiations with internal and external customers and vendors.
Requirements
  • Law degree from a recognized law school with a solid record of academic achievement.
  • Admission to the Bar in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction.
  • Relevant experience with commercial and transactional legal experience, preferably in a global hi-tech company or international law firm environment.
  • Strong background in IT licensing, professional services, and other services agreements.
  • Experience in governmental or state contracts and SaaS engagements is an advantage.
