Job Summary

Samsung SDS America is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our Smart Logistics (SL) business, you will provide legal support to various stakeholders and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice on logistics claims, including those arising from warehouse operations and transportation
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for claims processes
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts related to logistics services
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties, including insurance brokers and carriers
  • Analyze data to determine claim validity and coverage
  • Represent SL Legal in internal and external meetings
  • Develop and distribute key reports and analyses
  • Promote legal compliance and best practices across the business
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of relevant legal working experience, particularly in logistics and supply chain
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and claims platforms
