Key Responsibilities- Develops construction work orders utilizing the Work Management System (WMS).
- Marks lines, creates sketches, circuit maps, diagrams, and estimates as needed, while assisting with or executing other tasks necessary for the planning, preparation, and completion of construction and maintenance projects.
- Secures private property easements and gathers essential information for municipal petitions and permits.
- Supports load evaluations, investigates customer inquiries, and formulates plans for corrective measures when necessary.
- Conducts line inspections and represents the organization on contract assignments.
- Keeps accurate records as required.
- Performs additional relevant duties as assigned.
- A minimum of a two-year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering technology or a related field, or seven (7) years of experience as a line worker.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid driver's license without restrictions and a safe driving record is required.
- General familiarity with various types of line construction, materials, standards, and procedures, along with a working knowledge of circuits, feeds, switches, etc., in the designated area.
- Ability and demeanor to effectively represent the organization in the field.
- Familiarity with the company's published guidelines and directives related to the work, along with the ability to write or print legibly and produce accurate estimates, records, and reports.
- Comprehensive understanding of the company's operational standards, policies, and directives relevant to the assignments, with courteous interaction with all customers.
- Thorough knowledge of safety protocols affecting the work, ensuring compliance during task execution.
- Willingness to work assigned overtime and respond to emergency situations.
